Check out the detail on this!.

...What the picture doesn't show, is the amount of detail also put into the engine bay.

Lovely!

No, this is a 'one off' model, built by Graham Stevens.

chaos, it's the same designer as the Planatec (double 2 shirts), but doesn't look particularly similar really.

I don't think Graham makes them for people, this one has been a labour of love, done bit by bit, some stages done years apart.

It really is a work of art, and he's made every tiny bit from scratch, even the drives, props etc.

Phil Morris is now the sales manager at Revenger,he used to make some beautiful models for Team Spirit & recently asked me if i thought there would be any demand for detailed models in wood or resin,my Revenger 27 model still has pride of place on top of me telly !! Why not give Phil a call at Revenger on 01489 572404.

It even has red injection stacks!!

Those models that the Team Spirit guys used to have on their stand were incredibly accurate - I remember seeing one of the cougar models - correct in every way in hull shape. I was very impressed. Is Phil Morris still making them - if so,how much?? And what models could he make - anything?

Hello Nige,I spoke to Phil again the other day & told him that there were some posts on Boatmad about models,he showed me an album of photo's taken of every model he made,he did the 6 ltr All Of A Quiver & the class 11 'Quiver 2' the detail is amazing he even has a mold for making the old 2.5 efi's,I suspect that he could make anything,he even made a remote control 'Miss Embassy' in wood that must of been 30 inches long.Give him a call during working hours on 01489 572404.I have asked him to scan photo's of the models & when he does i will post them.

Small scale classic offshore

There seems to be an interest for detailed models of Offshore boats. A few months ago, I approached a firm specialised in making scale model race and rally cars with the request for a quote in making models of a 36' Cigarette.

The project was well advanced and we were about to have the first prototype cast (Black Tornado), when a family bereavement meant that my focus has been on other matters.

Anyone wishing to continue or take over this project would be welcome and I would pass on all details on contacts.

Right, since posting the message above, I have been digging the file and I have decided to resume the project. There will be a series of famous 36' Cigarette produced eventually, starting with Black Tonado. I will post updates and photos as soon possible.
In the meantime, it would be quite useful to gage the amount of interest (if any). So please, fire away any questions.

Thank you.

Phil.
