The real beauty of this thing is that the engines are not pointing down towards the stern, and no bending flexi drive tubing with all the problems that causes.
The engines are mounted flat with a solid rod drive shaft. A bit expensive but it just makes everything better and it looks the 'dogs'.

Sorry Rob, but you still have to use a flex drive (as they use the flex for steering and trim so tight corners are out) and put a bit of bend in it to stop it oscilating in the tube.
Does look the dogs though and you can get servo cotrolled trim using a flex drive and quad start threaded plunger.
I'll let you know if it lasts any longer than the RCM pile of poo.

MMMM rob looks like too few pixels to me you should work in CCTV no criminal would be safe.
I have just fitted one of these drives and trust me it is flex.
Fuller I was up having nightmares about TREES!!!
