I haven't thought about selling any mouldings or even a price yet. the model is direct from the designer, its not a 3d model I have hashed up its the genuine boat just scaled down. the only difference is the hull.. i'v gone with the very first concept drawing shape rather than the banana shark modified bow, chines and oversized step vents.
another difference is I will be running this thing on petrol.. as the original should have (no offence to the banana shark crew as the boat was rigged for endurance) but I always felt it should have had two big petrol lumps and been fit for class1 V1 or a British in super boat Vee.
I have got a few ideas I would like to run with as well, I cant afford to play with a real one so I'm going to modify the model ................
what is the Stirling up to nowadays?

Hi Jimbo.
The Stirling is in my garage, re striped and ready to go. I just do not have time at present to use it and I am not sure that there are enough races to warrant the cost of licence, insurance etc. If you would like to message me your email address, I can send you pictures. As I mentioned before, I would be very interested in one of your models.

Would be great to see the real thing race again. I enjoyed driving it for Cookee at a few events and the VC prologue. Was good to see it run against SwipeWipes. With 4 races in marathon this year and good entries, you should have enough excuse to come racing with her. 2 races in Norway, CTC and Falmouth to Scillies. Perfect for that boat. Tom MS.
