If you add VAT to that you could have a twin diesel class E or class D marathon boat pretty much ready to race for that money, just some electronics and safety gear and there you go!

But your wouldn't get anything as fast as Bounty Hunter. She's also a classic in her own right with a proven hull design purchased by thousands and a very attractive boat. If I had the money, which I don't, I would be tempted, Modern designed boats just don't have the same appeal for me.

Actually I agree with Mike as well - Bounty Hunter is a boat you buy with your heart and not your wallet - a genuine timeless classic that should be preserved in its full twin V8 beauty, and now it's restored with that beautiful paint job it just needs someone to take care of her and bring her out for great events!
