Cowes Torquay

Could well have won the cruiser class in those days?
Really very nice boats DS110s, built by Halmatic like the brick proverbial.
Would be very reliable with the Sabres, not too economical to run but parts readily available.
Aft cabin is great, cockpit very small, quite narrow beam for the length.
Great sea boat and a good buy for someone I would say.
Would probably just about qualify for COPOC membership!

A pair of 300 Sabres and only 30 knots doesn't stack up. sould be faster.

Spares for the 300hp Sabres are a real problem, spares for 180 and 210 rated fords are fine, but the 300's have forged pistons and steel main bearing caps and all sorts.

I suspect they are not 300's, which is a good thing.

Could be a good buy, one on the hard at Hamble Point won't sell.
