MM too

Mine's at 1.11, 5.12 & 7.08... But you don't gotta blink!

I think it helped if your boat had Ford engines, on account of them making the film.

Lots of good Fairey Huntsman footage, especially that one driven by BOB... though it could just be Fordpower (no. 808!)

Nice one Nige...

Hi John

Perhaps not initially... though to tell the truth I don't know for sure! I think it started life as a promotional thing for their products. The Ford-powered boats feature heavily, as you would expect if Ford paid for the film. Yeah, it ended-up as a screen-test film before daytime TV... worth taking a sickie for, anyway.

The film of the '84 Round Britain was made by Mercury Marine and again, it is fairly biased towards the boats utilising their products... fair enough if they're picking-up the tab, but frustrating if you want to watch footage of one of the other, "mustn't blink" boats.

Avast behind! ian

I still have a couple of DVD's of "Ride The White Horses" that I purchased some three years ago from Ford Marketing. Regarding RB1984, there were two films made. I have DVD's of both of them. I thought that they were all on Boatmad Multimedia, they used to be.
