Only today I saw this interesting article that once again provides us with Graham.
Too bad that in addition to my late this seems your effort is spent without interest.

Don't know how I missed this when it was first posted. Makes for some fascinating reading, doubly so given the author.
I think I know why Lord Lucan really went into hiding. My theory is that he disappeared due to the ignominy of mistaking a 90 hp Evinrude for a 75.

The Dave Wilson on the last page of the photo below is the Davey Wilson that was T-Man of Balestrieri after the Stuteville age?

Historic Articles
There are tons more ready and waiting, but sometimes wonder if it`s worth inflicting powerboaters with it given the lack of interest it seems to have.
At present circa 500 reports have been scanned (1960`s) and will carry on into the 70`s and 80`s,the idea being an Archive section is created on Boatmad where all these reports can be accessed. This would happen probably around July time.
On the same subject Jon,when can we expect further films from Batch 2 to be on the site?

Ditto Flying!
Hey Jon! Your beautiful site is marking time.
You have the opportunity to receive rare documents for the history of this sport and that Flying Fish generously is offering you for getting your site on top of the websites definitely.
This sport needs to be known in its history, but young people have no opportunity to know it.
This could be an opportunity for them and everyone of us.
So even then the forums would not be empty of ideas ...

Lack of interest!!!!? It's stuff like this which makes Boatmad such an invaluable and unique resource. There's obviously a mine of historic information out there which many members would, I'm sure, find fascinating.
Keep it coming, I say - the more the merrier!

At last, some reaction to the question of posting historic info. Thanks Marco, you know the form.
Jon,the pressure is on.Looks like I`m not the only one bitching about keeping the momentum going on this.We rely on you make Boatmad a class act in this field.6 films out of 60 in 3 months is well er!!! Please don`t go back to where we were a few years ago, where it took forever cajoling to get them on site.
I know to some, any historic subject is a right turn off,but then again there are those who welcome it,so please serve them as you would the others.
I appreciate your very busy, but surely some dialogue on where you are with all this could be posted.
A new telecopic sight has been fitted, and the dogs straining on the leash.

Thanks Nigel! I woud like to know more about Davey.
I remember seeing him several times through the window at my school who was among the shipyards Alitalia and Firebird in the late seventies. Then I met him during the races.
Rumors said he had the blood of American Indian ...
