These were 18 foot design, I think with the Watson Ragged chine (Like 1963 Zingara C-T boat). I belive that they were too small, & were superceded by the RIBS & Inflatables in the RNLI Fleet, but others may know more.

nope, volvo, they did a 4 & 6 cyl version, memory serves me the 4 was about 140hp and the 6 was 170 with triple carbs, both were basically car engines from the 144 and the 264 range

I had a Volvo Laplander with B18 engine looked like a ford engine.They look like ford copies to me.Volvo had a v8 with there Name on the rocker cover
but it was chevy 5.7
