Depends how thick and solid your transom is.
and i would of thought that it will also depend on how high you are running your motor

on the P21 if they were going to be rigged with twins the transoms were beefed up, but i can't see why yours wouldn't be ok with that much power on flat water but if you manage to rip your transom out don't bblame me

Thats what my reference to the bowling ball and bit of 2 by 4 was about.

On one of the Scream and Fly vids they reckon before you try to drive a v bottom hull at 100mph+ you need to master standing on a piece of 2 by 4 on top of a bowling ball

This vid, its 40 megs but its good:-

yeah an efi will run nitrous dont know if any one makes kits over here though.

If you buy a kit from the states make sure the bottle you get can be refilled over here first.

Watch that vid though and then think what it would be like to sudenly have an extra 100hp just switch on at the press of a button when your trying to balance the boat at 90mph+, and then off again at potentially over a ton. Rather you than me!!!

Yeah Burty's, it was a 150 shot on his Sharpe. however for the above reason and because no one would ever go in his boat again afterwards he decided rather sensibly that he wouldnt bother.

i had nitrous on an old trans am years ago i can still remember the big grin it used to give me,i think the grin may turn to terror on a boat though.

I reckon all it would be good for in a boat is acceleration, i.e drag racing, not to gain top speed.
