What a tool! (no, not you chaos) that really was outrageous!

ran 105mph

For anyone who doesn't already know, this is Richard Carr's old Cougar US1-41, 'Lethal Magic', rigged by Mark Pascoe of 'Sport rib' fame.

It had triple C & G 930hp blower motors on Mk 6's, and was awsome.

It was amazing what a few Wimpey Bars, Bowling Alleys and night clubs would buy you!

I understand that when boats are raced they take an utter hammering. but how do so many of these boats end up 'left to wrot'?

It wasn't a race boat.

it got sold to a guy when richard Carr went skint, along with the matching Autocraft Cobra (also pascoed in same style/colours) matching tractor-trailer unit, and matching class II race cat 'Lethal Menace'

this fella owned it when the pics were taken in '94.

It wound up in his garden, half stripped out, with engine bits sitting out in the rain, along with the Lambo motors from the Class II cat, which all got ruined, also, his kids took to smashing a lot of the boat and it's parts up for kicks. (when they weren't driving his two XK8's round the garden)

I love kids!

My previous post was badly worded. I didnt mean specifically racers.....just any boat that (say 10 years ago) must have cost astronomical amounts of money........come to dye in a field.

I spose its all relative to how much wonga the owners have got.

Indeed, I have a 13ft dateline going to ruin behind my garage
