? about sprung seat/dash combination

It can be quite difficult to read instruments while bouncing around underway and I know there are a lot of sprung seats to help comfort ride therefore wondered if anyone ever developed a sprung console/dash that's connected to the seat, of to take it a stage further, sprung survival cell? And if so what were the results.
