advice needed please

my mates and i are selling the carrera mod v hull, they are under the illusion that its worth £2500 to £3000.i on the other hand dont.iam considering buying it for the trailer(2 wheeled) and engine, the engine is a 2.4 bridgeport with a clever prop(as im sure you all know from my past threads!)tuned by reddish marine, they reckon it will push the boat up to 80+ mph.its a good reliable engine and i think it would be good on my marshan.
my question is whats it worth/is it good move, so i can get an idea

Where were you guys last year ? I would have bought it for that price.
I think if you put it in the right websites like euroboats.com it could go for that price as a package hll/motor/trailer.

if its gonna cost your more than 1k to get that engine then I would forget about it. If you got to spend 2k+ for the engine and boat then u may aswel save up a bit more and get an Xr2 or something similar.
That boat ran really well on a 150 black max with a laser II 21p. Dont know what the top end was but I guess about 60ish

Kona

Are you all mental !! Firstly the boat is actually a Kona as the Carrera name was abandoned before this boat was built . Secondly it is possibly one of the best handling & performing boats in the 18-21foot category in calm or rough water !! I drove mine to Guernsey & back from Salcombe with a phantom 18 trailing in its wake & believe me it was not calm. Possibly the best use for it would be for someone wanting to win F2 Ski Racing .
