Very sad!
I was talking to Brownie a few weeks ago and he was telling us about Copeland being very unwell. He thought then (mid Feb) that he probably didn't have long left.

Very sad indeed, he sure did spend some money on racing some great boats, cut out the odd pic to stick on the wall...think I read somewhere he had a very colourfull career with the ups and downs in business, guess it would make some interesting reading...the big C a nasty way to go R.I.P

A good hearted and generous man, a great racer and not afarid to push the bounderies, tough but fair on and off the water.
Had the privalige of sharing his company and that of his family in the US mainly Key West, even sent someone when I got injured to see if needed anything.............................He will be missed by all racers past and present.
My condolences to the family.........The pain and sufering is now gone.
