Ramsgate 2004 was rough. Some dashboards split and broke. Cardiff 2004 was bloody rough. Three of the v24's had the legs pulled out of the bodywork.

To be fair, V-24's have had 'issues' with their integrity! (here we go )
However, i'd rather not go down that road on this forum.

There were some 'issues' with delamination of the join between top and bottom. Hopefully we can get that re-inforced over winter.
As for the dash, a lot of drivers appear tpo be hanging on the wheel....
I have a 3mm ally plate re-inforcing my dash, and it is bolted through the deck now, rather than epoxied to the undrside...

Yes, that's some of the problems.

The last flat Ramsgate was 2000 - I should know because since then I've won 2 class III races there second to a big diesel boat and won the Formula 200 race there in the same race - Cowes Europeans in 2000 was allegedly a force 6+ in the first race - ask Adam! The Needles race was a real bitch this year as well with fairly nasty conditions out by the Needles (survival stuff).
One of the reasons I packed in racing class III was that every time it got rough the organisors and competitors got the race cancelled, so although we were one of the few boats built for rough conditions we couldn't take advantage of it! It was of course also a business decision, but I think we would probably have changed over to the RIB class anyway!
