Another what is it?

We all love this so,

What is it?

My wife thinks POS lol.

It's a little confused, the hull looks like my phantom 18 only not as many chines wide and only 16ft, makes you think phantom 16 but the deck is massively wrong! also the bow of the hull comes up like an 18 but didn't do that on the 16. the rear well is curved as well.

Bought by my apprentice as a project to learn a bit about restoring building etc.

Now we have stripped it out it does have the runners (can be seen just under the front seats covered in AstroTurf, yes AstroTurf!!!) that run the full length and knees identical to my 18 and has been made to a really high standard. I will get some stripped out pics soon.

I know someone will know!

see I knew you would know that. will be interesting to see how it handles.

we were thinking a yam 70 or maybe risk it for a biscuit and go 90.

it is getting a new transom as completely rotten!

The 16 hull was the same from '69 till the end I think, only the deck changed.

3B P16's used to run Yam 85/90

Back in the day it would have raced with a Merc 85XS
