If its in the Hailsham area it is probably this one. I looked at it a few weeks ago as it was my brother's raceboat. Unless it is repaired properly i.e. put back in the mould, I personally wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. It is beyond economocal repair. A new hull would be cheaper to fit out.

And Another.
This has been mentioned on another thread on the forum a few weeks ago. The boat was at Dateline Marine.

Argo
Give us a ring on 07738 637912. I'm still the social agent of Argo for UK.
The design is fast, the build is sustainable and reliable, but to get the best out of the hulls requires expert drivers. Not for novices as the monos are designed to fly level without mechanic/hydraulic lift. Safe in the right hands!

my dad has a 19 that was built entirely of kevlar for bob reader, very strong and fast boat, we harpooned a phantom with it last year destroyed the side and hit it very hard, so hard i broke my visor on the screen and cracked the bucket seat, the boat lost paint on the nose and that was all, not even a chip in the gel or and white fibre glass inside, i honestly recon that you could drop it off the trailer and it wouldnt break other than gel chip, i have a 17 argo, which is a ex ocr boat, built up with carbon fibre stringers and suports, also a very light boat, i can lift it off the trailer from the transom without a motor obviously, can you get screens shipped in etc?

That looks like a sad old 21 to me.
Anyway, Argo is alive and well in Finland, Harri and Pentti are still producing beautiful boats, mainly 23 foot cats for Scandinavia. The 17, 19 and 21 monos are still available if anyone wants one or two. Their website is http://argoboats.mine.nu and they can be contacted by phone +358 3 3441599 or fax +358 3 3451791, but be patient and speak slowly or contact through me.
Screens can be manufactured but delivery is problematic, because of the shape and flexibility.
I can email photos of 21 mono if required.

That was me. The three boats were a 13 ft Picton Speedmaster, with a 55 Yamaha, a works fletcher 129 and works 55 Yamaha, both sponsored by GKN Steelstock . The third boat would have been the Toleman twins Class 3B Phantom 16, that should have been looked after by Nick Cripps in Cirencester, but spent much of its time at my place. By the way, I bought the house in Minster Way for £13,500 in 1978 and sold it a year later for £19,500, bet its worth a bit more now.

No unfortunately, but Whizzo and I used to rally at the same time on the UK international circuit, which caused great confusion at the time. Whizzo is still racing and has a new autobiography out, which I have yet to acquire.
You must be into cars if you know Whizzo.
