I think it was Miami to New York, but it wasn't held by this 28. If I remember the story correctly, the record was set by a Pantera 24, but was "advertised" on the side of the then current company race boat, which was this 28!

The current owner (Dave 'simple' Simpson) would I'm sure love to hear all about it.

Pepe and Jo Nunez frequent the pantera section over at OSO..Very knowledgable and helpful about the boats and there history. They are pleasant on the phone as well. Very laid back custom builders.
