a friend of mine has been offered a b28 batboat with a 496ho in it ,its the 4 seater model but wants to know how fast it should be,anyone here had one ?

With a volvo 7.4 GL-DPX 390hp in the 70knots region, with the 496 HO rated at 425 hp , 3 knots more is possible

thanks for that,they say it does 70 im thinking they mean knots otherwise it must be missing somethink

I'm not sure to understand about who or what says 70, the info I gave you shows 70.2knots and on the other column 80.2mph.
The leisure version in sweden the 4 seater, metallic grey did 70knots at the time on the demo boat also.

thanks,i ment the people selling one said 70mph but they must mean knots but it is a bargain ,its an armarda in the usa
