Anyone got any ideas?

I see this all the time on the River Teign...Soft rotten Driftwood, Semi submerged.
On a serious note I was once involved in the "Rolex Murder" Trial at crown court as a key witness as i straigntened the propeller that pounded the head of the dead guy who's identity was taken by the the canadian insestual gold bullion smuggling god preaching banker (Ronald Platt) see film or book!
My I.D was kept private as my bosses at the time had royalties!
So it may have been a dead body or animal.OOOOOOOOOOOH!
If it was shallow my bet is a submerged log or sleeper
The prosecution was sealed due to the fact my evidence stated that the damage to the prop could not have been done by the mooring chain as explained by Mr Platt during questioning. This was later exposed due to the fact that the Yacht "Lady Jane" was seen going back to her mooring in astern after dumping the body at sea from Dartmouth!!!!!!!!
He got triple life
