bluebird/ campbell
just a couple of questions I would like to know the answers to,
did bluebird set a new world speed record or did it not get it because it flipped, on second pass.
if it did set a new record has it been broken or still exist ,

as far as i know, it did set the record of 276.33 MPH in 1964 but in 1978, a boat called the 'spirit of australia', set an average speed of 317.6 mph and it peaked at 345 mph.

after the crash, the lake got a speed restriction put on it apart from the powerboat speed week when you can go and try and beat the speed set at 150mph.
