Boat cover?

Hi all,

Any idea where would be a good place to get one of these universal boat covers? The silver/grey ones that cover the whole boat? I don't want the expense of having a full custom one made.
It's for the revenger so would need to cover a 25ft by 6.5ft boat.

Cheers, James

Hi Larby. I got mine from a company in Plymouth (cant remember the name), but it was a load of crap tbh. The straps had all broken within a couple of months, and the cover never kept the water out. But saying that there are other companies who make them, and they mite be the oposite? Im sure other people on here will give you their honest opinion bout them either good/bad.

Andy.

Got mine from Flee bay, its made from the that heavy grey material the caravan covers are made (12 oz if I recall) 2 years ago its been out in all the weathers and never had any problems.
Checked it Friday at the farm and its survived the 100 mph winds we had last week. lol
Sure it was about £100 the boat is 19ft and 8ft wide so expect to pay about £150 for yours

Have you tried Overtons, a US company? http://www.overtons.com/

Lots of boaty stuff, will send to UK adresses but you may get stung for Import Duty if the value is over a certain amount.

Thanks for that guys, sadly it'd seem all the UK ones only go up to about 22ft. CP performance do all the US ones up to well over 25ft so I may try them.
To be fair though, with the price for the bigger ones it looks like it may be worth me making up a template and seeing what it'd cost for a simple custom cover.

Cheers, James
