boat testing in the solent

For the last few weeks off of Lymington there has a been a cougar looking boat testing up and down the solent between Yarmouth and Lymington?
its a silver colour and goes (and sounds) very well even yestersday in the rough.
any one know what it is.
I work at Buzzard marine in yarmouth and every time it goes by we all run up on the roof to have a look.

i reckon thats the xrs 48 built at berthons ,lymington surposed to be the bugatti of the sea but i dont think so

I have heard that also have a larger version based on the fb 55...how big was it?
