Probably would have struggled to keep up with you boys anyway.

I'll be there to spectate though.
No need to specate,3 spare seats in back of mine, reserve you one if you want, cost you a bag of chips.

I don't know what size you are talking about but back in August I towed a classic 19' ChrisCraft down to Aix in France (approx 550 miles each way) & that was on a disc braked 'Overlander' yank trailer. We didn't have any issues at all with the authorities either here or in France. It also did about 1500 miles in the UK this summer.

Have just read about your rally and it sounds a great idea. Just spoke to my mate who lives in Cardigan who owns a 70 foot Pinnace. He says if I can get a trailer and my Freelander will pull it, we're up for it................I've just spoken to him again and I misheard, he has a 7m Fletcher called Penis and he's up for anything when the word FREE is involved. It's also nice to see the words RYA not involved. If a few turn up we'll get some snaps and publish an article in World of Powerboats.

Ahh that's a little bigger than us! Provided its all sorted properly &its lights are sorted with a correct sized tow vehicle I wouldn't have thought Plod would have bothered you. If it looks a mess then you will attract all sorts of unwanted attention.

Yes the boat is a 17' Stapely Hawk - one of two in the CMBA, last weekend I helped load a 20 Condor onto a trailer from a muddy field for a rebuild. I love mine to bits!

Probably more than you think if you get the organisation in place.

Pwllheli has been the base for quite a few big cruises over the past few years, some of them attracting over 40 boats.

Here's a couple.........

That's a very generous offer, thanks. I'm sure I can sort you some chips out and some fuel and beer for that I reckon. Being cheeky now but any chance of another seat aswell?

Are you still planning on getting the unit top of the slip to build boats?
