There are already at least two organisers of ZapCat style races. I'm not sure if there's a basic licence type entry tho'.
These guys wanna run in Offshore tho'. which is generally much faster. (and safer)

Bob i am in a bit of a quandry really, although i have expressed an interest in the racing, my boat doesnt fall into the regs for ocr or offshore so is it pointless me joining ocrda?

How about just doing basics. There will probably be at least around five races available to you and thats not including OCRDA.
Would be a good showcase for your boats.
