Brand new Phantom 19 - stepped racedeck

Thought you guys might like to see my new project taking shape, a brand new Phantom 19G-R. Built by Chris Parsonage Racing from the original Baker mould, with a plant for the steps designed by John Guille and an all new race deck that stays faithful to the original 19.

It's on a hydraulic lifter, so anywhere from 2.5" below to 2.5" above

Prop shaft

I haven't run it yet, was hoping to get out yesterday but had issues with the trim pump for the lifter and bleed nipples for the steering... What should have taken two hours ended up taking two days!

I am curious. Who owns the rights to these stepped phantoms. The original designer or the step designer or both?

As far as I'm aware, the rights to the Phantom 19 now belong to Nick Barsch (who developed it originally with Steve Baker). The Stepped versions are a collaboration between John Guille and Nick, the race deck mould and plant for the steps belongs to John, and the hull mould and original deck mould belong to Nick.

Initial tests have given us better performance than expected, I'm very very happy!
