Raceboat International is thinking about resurrecting the Brass Monkey race in February 2012, run under Basic Rules. I launched that race in conjunction with Powerboat Show in the 1990's. The Dorset Lake Club, Poole would be the base for the race. Let's know your thoughts on the idea.
Basic means all classe including Thundercats's Bob, and lets hope Alan and friends from Ireland will join in. This will not be linked with RYA presentations. The presentations and party will be at Dorst Yacht. Can we run it under your banner and all proceeds (if there are any) to go the charity. Where is ori ginal Brass Monkey Trophy ?
