Bristol mono hull powerboat

I've been restoring my fathers Bristol mono hull power boat
My father Kim Poole brought this boat in the mid eighties, he raced in what used to be T1 category for a number of years until he retired.
There was rumours that it was specially built for Andy Elliot back in the early eighties but have found no evidence of this.
I have not been able to find anything about this boat or find any like it.
If any one has any information or pictures please contact me .
Thank you in advance!

Bristol Monohulls

Hi
We Rally single seaters down in Exmouth, and we have several Bristols running.
Its a bit difficult to see exactly from your single photo, but I would say we have at least one exactly the same, 2 or 3 very similar, plus about 8 more standard earlier ones running
When are you planning to have her ready for the water? What engine are you going to use?
You are very welcome to bring her along to one of our Rallys
Post some more pix

Google Bristol Boats in Saltford nr Bath the Sheppherd family used to build them. Have got a brochure somewhere will try to dig it out, they used to have an area there with lots of old monos and cats with many champions names on the sides very interesting.
