chrome wheels on a trailer
sad question i know
but as i would only be launching in salt water would these rims corrode and end up looking horrid
have a set of alloys which have currenty been on the trailer 3 years i think and seem to have stood the test of time v well
just wanted to know if anyone knew what the salt would do to chrome
cheers

Chrome Wheels
I had a set of chrome wheels on a trailer for years and if you wash them off and spray with WD40 as i did they will last OK, if you dont look after alloys they will deteriorate , any thing that looks pretty and goes in salt water needs TLC.

You could try washing the wheels after they have been in the salt water
