Class 1 boat for sale?

This can't be right a class 1 powerboat advertised for sale for $120.000, that works out at 60.000 pounds.

Hence the price. The boat is no longer competitive and can only be used for "pleasure".

That price is correct , less power .
I talked to the owner , Nicola Giorgi , several months ago .
The problem was shipping to the US was over $ 60,000 USD and the boat was so uncompetitive I quickly cooled to the idea .
I hope Nick has better luck with his new ride .

Mate, you could do it easily.....

I had a look at the boat about 8 months ago. the engines were being replaced with some other big lump - the race engines were worth more than the boat was selling for. They reconed they would still get 135mph.
