A fekkin great big motor like this and i quote

"Believed year 1986 Johnson 225 V6 outboard engine. We are only the second owner and we have only used it for about 70 hours. The engine originally came off a canal boat so we believe it was not abused."

i to thought it was a little small for a canal boat, up north they run twin xr2's on the canal so they can outrun the little bastards who drop shopping trolleys on them

Reminds me of a friend who took his boat out on the Thames near Pangbourne for a blast. All went well until he was on the front page of the local paper the next week. He went straight to his workshop and re-sprayed the boat.

Also gave it a new name, something like 'I'm A Gonnaere' , and raced it a few times at the RMYC - who had a bit of a problem with the name!

It looks like the Des'bro Cut . Great little spot for a blast out of hours. Is it?

I did the same! My old sharpe started as red, but after getting told off by chichester harbour master it became blue. Anyone seen the title scene of Cannonball Run II? It's shame water washable paint wouldn't work on a boat.
