Day out

Hi to one and all

I am based at fishbourn & am a member at the RVYC i am sure a lot of you no it
From time to time we get a few Power boats over from the
North island for a drink & chat and then go and blow some cobwebs out of the engines on the way home
The question is who would be intrested in a run out rally or whatever you want to call it ending up at the the RVYC for refreshments and a yarn
if enough are intrested i am sure pontoon space could be set aside
We have a well stocked bar & in house food

Martyn

To be honest, trying to get an accurate forecast in advanced that would give people enough time to tie in work and personal lives was a pain. Also the ideas for en evening shin dig went a bit flat.
Same old thing though with organising events is worrying about if people will turn up. I put my last quid that loads would say yes and if the weather looked a bit iffy in 10 days time they already decide not to do it and with the sort of event with an evening involved the risk of a poor show could potentially scupper things for next year.
Been working flat out through the summer and i forgot about most of it too haha.

Day out...

We'll sort a day for next year, and perhaps an evening do down the ECA, if we can make the numbers up. Would be a good day out...
Maybe June/July ish.
