Daytona Scarab Engines
Are there any active Daytona Scarabs installed in any active boats anywhere in the world? Does anybody have any details - manuals etc of these turbo engines from the early 1960's?
Does anybody know if these engines are still capable of being rebuilt in any facility here in the UK and if pistons etc could be found - after all they were basically only marinised Chevy blocks with 1st generation Garret truck turbos bolted on? Does anybody have a contact for Sam Sarah in the USA who built & developed them in the '60's?
