Just remember there is a huge difference between reaching magnetic North and Geographical North - what most people know as the North Pole. A distance of about 900 miles actually so Polar exploration isn't as easy as it seems....

I wondered about that when i watched the program, when the Top Gear team where right on the North Pole, I could'nt see any sign of Santa or the Elves,
