Ok found it outmyself too it was a 28.

So the 28 is the one to have then.

And I wasn´t talking about the boat being run in Europe but about the class as the asker liked to know how far he has to travel for international racing.

You seem tightlipped about Notareal you don´t know anything about it or know too much ?

Warelius' world record Skater (116+ mph) and their 4 litre (later 6 liter) Skater are different boats. The one that's in Dubai is the world record boat. The former 4 litre Skater is in US, I think.. Mickey, yep that's me.

The world record boat is the S-1 Finnracing...28 skater

The boat(skater 28) that was used in 4 litre by the Warelius brothers is the same boat that won the 6 litre worlds 98 in Cowes owned then by Petri Jokinen/Iiro Saarinen.

The Warelius brothers came second that year because of a navigational error and were Dsq from one heat.(bob kemp?)

The "4-litre" boat was shipped to Argentina by Jokinen/saarinen to compete in somekind of invitation race.
The boat delaminated badly in the front sponsons and was sold locally. It has later been for sale on ebay and offshore only in the U.s a few times.

At the moment I think the Class III / 6 litre race should will be run April 1st. I'm 100% sure about it. Some boats will miss the Qatar race.

Heard that there has been some serious issues with the shipping as they Class 3 guys were supposed to be shipped with the C1 boats. When the C1 was postponed, the C3 racers were more or less left on their own, meaning no support from either national authority, UAE or Qatar. Consequently some teams decided not to go, as there is a real possibility that they will miss the Fujiarah race on April 13.

Perhaps I've missed something but what does that have to do with anything? I'm guessing of course that you are referring to 'north of Watford', if not please excuse my intrusion.

Its got to do with a certain race team shafting you and not having the balls to tell you!

hutchy, i think they have asked the previous owner a short cut way of getting the most out of that boat. i dont for one minute think there is anything devious going on.as for the series it has been a bit shakey all along
