Duke of York Trophy

Can you help?
We are looking for the Duke of York Trophy as a further Trophy for the race and need your help in finding it.
It was a famous Offshore Trophy raced for back in the late 1970's and very early 80's and the last we heard was that it was last won by a Peter .... surname unknown who was a car dealer on the south coast.(Peugeot or Toyota) and then it disappeared. We are obviously contacting the Royal Motor and the Royal Southern clubs but so far no luck.
Has anyone any ideas as to where it is now or who has it?

Are you thinking of Peter Bloomfield who ran the Stapley Taloncat "Heynes for Toyota"?

Pete Amstrong moved to my neck of the woods (Ok, further West of me - you know - the posh part). He sold his chain of PDH garages for a large fortune.

I thought the Duke of York trophy was presented at the Bristol Docks race for inshore cats, unless its a different one.

I think the Bristol docks version is in the Basildon museum.
