Ernie Freezers yard on Hayling Island.

On another thread mention made of Ernie Freezer's yard & entrants in Cowes/Torquay Races.
Can anyone advise please - where was Freezers yard - was it possibly where ABC (Aluminium Boat Co), are now ? (Too much of a coincidence maybe ?)

Short answer is YES to MB & Y,but I will add the following.

Race Instructions NO,and are spasmodic over the years.

All pdf`s have been scanned at 300dpi for better copying quality, although some early reports are photocopies to start with. The 300dpi chews up memory something rotten,so if more than 2 pages I have to rescan at say 100dpi in order to post.

So far I have done the 60`s,70`s and 80`s,and just into the 90`s,and like those historic boat renovators,I wonder just what madness I have taken on.

My original target was 12 months to do it,and so far it`s taken 9 months,so reasonably on track, but am slowing down a bit with the flog of it all,but it will be done.

Now I know the alarm lights will be flashing on JF`s computer,so I will take the opportunity of asking, can we sort out the practicalities of getting these pdf`s on the Gallery as of now please.
