Think that one is the old aeromarine IX. Not done any favors in the conversion. Was at shell bay for ages with a sign on it, recall about 75k would take it home. A very dated looking screen been stuck on it too

I know it is a piece of our very important heritage, and I raced in her BUT that price is crazy, sorry..you can get 4 year old cig or fountain for that...
Not the same?? NO but It is going to need a very rich racer or someone very passionate aboout our sport to shell out that amount..Beautiful or not.

To be honest, it's been so altered from the original (except the name/graphics) that it doesn't really look, or feel like a piece of history any more to me, he can keep it.

The old Aeromarine IX is in Italy under reconstruction.
That it's the Dry Martini (III) 36' lightened builded for Bonomi in 1973.
