Was talking with a mate about this the other night.
I wonder where that mould work was done? looks like a boat deck mould, or plug sitting under the car mould in one of those pics.
The unveiling looks like it was a Charlies house in Lymington, we went to a new years eve party there one year, he had an unbelievable firework display laid on.

his neighbour is Lord Montague (of beaulieu motor museum fame) he turned up at that new years eve party wearing his pyjamas! (montague that is)
And yes, I remember the show, Burnett vs Smith (Cliff) I have it on video somewhere.

Cliff borrowed Martin Mansbridge's Cat "Online Racing" and Navigator for the 96 Class 2 European's and that documentary. I think the programme was part of the "Modern Times" series on BBC2.
As far as I know the boat is still up at Nursling Industrial Estate on the M271 just outside Southampton....

Yeah, Lucy Jago was the name of the producer girlie. I think John Miller may have interfered with her a bit!
