experiment.....

hi,

just seen a few youtube vids small boats bombing around and got thinking......would it be possible to put and run a merc 1150 6cyl thunderbolt (70's) to a Driver 440...??

anyone tried it or similar?

the best one on there ive seen ,is a 2.5 v6 merc on a 10-11 ft boat, i think i posted it on here a while back, had a 440 some years back with 85 yam , good boats

we have put xr2s on a phantom 16 and a ring 16 good fun but over powered and much better on a 18\19 unless you live on a lake ! (we ran a tandem phantom 16\xr2 in the 3 hour race on windermere once, top end was 77ish but all over the place most of the time, we would have been quicker in my 18 but not as entertaining for the spectators)
