Extreme marine rib
check this rib out http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/view/BS09729
i looked at it last year when it had the 90 honda on it,i wish i bought it now seeing the price its up for,it was a one off from extreme marine built by dave and mate using their tried and tested hull.

MMnn, not an 'official' Extreme though. just shares the hull design.
Not connected in any way as far as waranty, RCD etc are concerned.

The other issue is the lack of a CE Mark on the boat which isn't mentioned in the advert.
38k seems a bit over optimistic as well.

RCD = Recreational Craft Directive, which = CE Mark, or lack of.

Nah, you'd be better off sticking to what you're good at.

Although trading standards can take it off you without one! (The chances of that happening are remote in the extreme however!)

The only possible exemptions would be some sort of commercial vessel which it clearly isn't or a race boat, and it isn't one of those either, so I'm afraid you're going to have to let me in on the loophole that you've discovered!

IIRC, Race boat, experimental or home build are all exempt.
