Fairey Marine - history of, lecture.

Please be advised that Charles Lawrence of COPC (Formerly COPOC) is giving a lecture at Hamble Memorial Hall, Hamble, on Thursday, 16th Feb., at 1930hrs
The subject is FAIREY MARINE, who of course built, among many others, the Huntress, Huntsman & Swordsman offshore cruisers/racers so in evidence in early offshore races up until the late 1970's & even in the 80's.
There is a charge of just £2 to enter I belive.
Hope some of you might be interested.

ahhh.. Fairey Marine... Raceboat heaven as far as I was concerned as a kid anyway.. and a passing gawp was a must for me whenever leaving the hamble. Took this pic in July 73.. if im not mistaken that'll be HTS II just visible behind Double Century.
