Hi, I have rented a number of boats in the states with folding tops which flap about at about 40mph. After that the boats capable of around 50/60 Knots all use fixed T-Tops with a very very rigid frame.
I can understand a boat capable of 60 knots having a folding hood as long as it is lowered for serious speeds.
I may have a number for you later today which could be useful.
