I'm going to see a 26 on wednesday night

If I got it for the mean time - I would then have to sell that to get the 26 later... I might as well wait...

Depends how it goes on wednesday night though

lol, makes more sense :|

Work - busy... sucks

Yeah, for the mean time - but even when its say the price it in in roadside fuel stations, you get more bang for your buck with diesel, right ?

marginally as diesel is now getting considerably more expensive than petrol.

put it this way; when the diesel consetion is lost, i'd want to be owning 'ya cuzuns cuzuns' 24......... coz it goes like shit off a stick!

Jon's phantom burns half as much diesel as my boat burns petrol.
Combined with the 5x fuel cost difference, running my boat costs 10x as much to run as Jon's boat.

I believe Maelstrom with with original Chevy V8 Weasel in burn't much less than Leviathan - about a teaspoonful per day, in total.

Gareth from Drivers Wharf, was talking yesterday with the owner of 'Itchen Marine & Towage'. they run a huge fleet of large tugs, and run a marina/fuel service.

They told him yesterday that they'd had correspondence from the Government saying it's looking increasingly like we'll get another 5 year licence on the tax exempt marine fuel.

All to do with having to harmonize with Europe completely if they ditch the marine stuff, and REDUCE the duty on road fuels!

They'll be very reluctant to do that, and failure to do it would get the fuel lobby groups going crazy again, blockades 'n' all.

So they're a bit stuck!..also, how would they police it? would cost more than they collect.

Anyways, I'll drink to another 5 years (at least)

clank-rattle wheeeeze, knock-knock, wheeeze, phutt.
