I'm sure he'll sleep more easily in that knowledge.

I personally have always prefered a quiet boat, stealth.

Swipewipes runs through-hub exhausts for the same reason.

We always wanted to run the T boat with through hub exhaust, but it was too restrictive in that particular case.

Jon,

I know that you don't like me.

Posts like that are dull.

I expect better from a future "Tony Needell" of Offshore Racing.

..."I expect better".

I thought it factual.

You can 'expect' what you like.

I've encoded and uploaded the two DVD's he gave me, one a promotional film for FB Design, the other a Yank history of powerboating, both pretty good!

I went to FB design +- 3 months ago,I needed two ZF 2 speed gearboxes that they had for sale at FB.
They were very nice to us ,took us for a factory tour ,Mr Buzzi was not at the factory at that time, but a very nice guy called Mario showed us the plant.

I was impressed how clean and nice the working area was ,his office is state of the art ,inside and out

cotto d'este - 66

hi jon
the cotto d'este boat as seen in your picture of the atrium [ hanging from the roof ] arrived by trailer and was craned in to do the lake como 100 mile race [open to all entries] on sunday 28th september 2008. not sure what engine was fitted [petrol v8-stellings headers was just visible and audibly recognisable]...not sure how it fared in the race...looked interesting so took pics

I'm not sure to be honest. I asked Fabio that very question (as we ripped up the lake at 60mph) and he said yes, but he was 'tollerated' because of the company and I guess the revenue & work that he/the company brings to the area. however, that might have just been talk.

There used to only be speed limits near the sea plane landing strip but I think things have changed recently. It's been too long since the last Giro.

Following a request by new member 'Cnooc' to view the Buzzi video, which hasn't been on the gallery server since the move a couple of years ago, here it is. not the best quality, so I might re-encode it when I get a chance (original is pretty good)

Will also do the 2nd one (Power Racers) given to me by Fabio shortly.
