Usually a floor sits on stringers and ends on hull or chines. Not really floor bearers as such in a small powerboat.

Show us a pic of what you have...

Did you take the stringers out? Were there stringers in the boat originally?

At the moment it's down to the bear hull, due to the "stringer's" had to be removed as the previous job was shit!, I wasn't sure what the term meant till I googled it haha...

So I know the job is bit harder!

No worries, just make sure the hull is straight when you glass the new ones in.
Best to put the boat on the ground and prop it up under the chines, and make sure there isnt any funky shapes in the hull that youll make perminent.

Should be pretty straight forward. Prep the hull, figure the height & location of your stringers, tab them in. Glass it all up and stick a floor in.

If your not sure about shape of stringers, use a bit of half inch mdf as a dry run/test. Marine ply is pricey, at least the good stuff is!
