You know what, I find it amazing all the accusations & insults coming out such as, how you get what you pay for, that I never sent the magazines etc.

What an ungrateful bunch of pricks you are. For your info once they left NZ it was out of my hands. If the postal service was slow in getting them there, then not sure how that was my fault.

Instead of you bitching that you didnt get your copy you could have just sent me an email saying did you send the mag as its hasnt arrived yet, and I would have checked the list to see and if it didnt get there, and sent you another copy.

Copies were sent to EVERYONE who requested one. I wasnt under any obligation or requirement to send anyone a mag, just thought it would be a nice gesture and as you can see by the comments from others, copies are making it through to the other end.

With regards to the comments by Ben, Cookee and Wildthing, feel free to bitch and complain as much as you want but dont expect me to send you another copy since the first one didnt make it there.

Have a great day because Chris Davies and I have been busy giving away heaps of magazines here in Dubai.

Ned

Ned, I really do think you're over reacting to the comments, I don't think for a momment anyone was bitching, just a bit of banter, as they are genuinely anxious about getting to see it.
You seem very sensitive, and I don't appreciate your language!
chill man.

Sorry H2O if I appear to have offended you but I did not ask for or request a free magazine. I mearly stated that you had a fallout on the forum and the magazines may not have been sent. That would be understandable if you were agreived. However i take your point on board and agree totally once posted it is out of your control.

I think you need to relax a little, maybe you do not understand UK humour

H20, i'm sure Ben's and Cookee's remarks were'nt aimed at you - just slightly off the cuff. Cookees im sure was directed at the postal service - im not sure how it is in NZ but here it is absolutely terrible (see my and Temp Insanes posts) and ben's had not malice to you. I for one was very grateful for you sending me a copy and will be very happy when it arrives, which im sure it will. Thank you for the time and cost at sending this as I and im sure all the other Boatmadders are equally grateful. Thanks once again

Rupert

My apologies for any perceived offence. Mine was just a light hearted comment referring more to the postal service here in Bubbaville VA. than to yourself.

Well H2O i never asked for a copy and i don't know you or the guys on this forum so i'm not one of there mates. But i enjoy the banter and humour on here even though JF banned Kinfast who became a mate after i bought his engines from him in March, infact he introduced me to this site.

H2O - Just for the record I don't think for one moment that you hadn't posted my magazine and I appreciate the opportunity to have a read and would consider adding it to the US mags I already subscribe too - as a matter of fact a letter was hand delivered to me that had been delivered to someone in my village with a very similar name (Cook instead of Cooke) even though the rest of the address was mine!

My girlfriend has a brother in NZ and I was hoping to come out there sometime to see the sport on the other side of the world for myself sometime, so I hope I'll be able to buy you a beer and talk about boats sometime!

Ned might be a grumpy old bugger, but it's a great magazine. Worth the subscription for the photos alone!

Update ........

It's arrived - just when I thought it had been hijacked by the Post Office!

Thank you very much indeed - Fantastic photos and a good spread of International racing - looking forward to reading about the Southern Hemisphere racing in future?

Mine arrived today also and I think it's awful (just messin with ya).
Actually it's probably the best I've seen with spectacular photos and great coverage of many areas of our sport. Congratulations on a job very well done and thanks very much for the free copy.

I'm guessing that I can subscribe online?
