Agreed, just filled in the subscription form as well. It's loads nicer having a nice glossy to read on the bog as opposed to purely online.

Gerard, sorry but i feel that your comment was far from the truth for many of forum users.from those that i have met i dont think that any if them would say thay they haven't received it just to get out of paying a membership of around £20. many spend far more than then on mags let alone for racing liciences and flights etc just to compete in 1 race - even if the boat/race isn't likely to be completed. if you knew the members then im sure you would agree that they were very committed to uk racing and those who were not are looking to be involved in the future. Sorry just thought that your comment was slightly inconsiderate towards people who have supported racing for a significant period.

WTF are you on about?

It was just a few people having a bit of a joke about the postal service, because their copies hadn't arrived when other people's had. One person said maybe they hadn't been sent . . .

PS Have you subscribed yet?

Didn't know they had Phantom 28's in NZ!

N2o did over react! No one was acting in an ungratefull way, no one questioned his honesty, they just joked about being nobbed off that theirs hadn't arrived yet, when others had, on the whole, suggesting the postal service were probably to blame.
Bens comment wasn't a snipe either, he mearly suggested, that no one should be complaining, as no one had paid a bean.

It was a very generous offer from H2o, especially as it's not just a free mag, he also has to pay postage from the other side of the world.
Hopefully, he'll chill out, and loads will see the quality of the mag, and subscribe (as a few already have) and make his effort worth while.

Now, can we move on, this is getting silly.

Well, maybe, yes, but good luck to him if it results in magazine sales, as it will only do so, if the mag is good. There's hardly any commitment involved in accepting a free issue, is there!

How's your camper coming on?

It has been proved, that unfortunately, the Christmas period is known for goods disappearing...........................Looks like somebody is in for a lucky stocking filler

I was a bit surprised at the slightly over the top reaction.

Anyway there is always tomorrows post

Ouch.

The Royal Mail charges extra for first class, for covered, heated storage I believe... If you want something delivered you need to post second class, they dont have the money to store it for as long...

Just for the record mine has not arrived yet, but off screen discussions have verified a three week delay for some mags, based on the post stamp...

When mine arrives, I will post the time delay...

Well, this just goes to show that the UK postal system is one of the finest in the world.

Today I received my magazine.

So far its an extremely good read and some of the photographs are rather impressive.

Is it going to be generally available then? I might have to subscribe if it is. Probably more to read than there is in SB&R. Nothing much in that apart from pictures of birds leaning against wakeboard towers pretending they're gonna pull their bikini bottoms off.

It's okay now and again, but it's no substitute for journalism.
