fresh water engine flushing

While I had the gear box off the engine to polish it , I thought , would make a flushing cone .

thanks ,i would like to get the gearbox on the engine but i may take a mould of the gearbox so i could make them ,but will let you know if i do, its a time thing, working on driver510 p25.

boatnut

its looking good ,you dont want to know how long it took ,will post some photos when its finished

We pushed 3 bits of hose up a regular sized hose and sealed it up with heatshrink - works perfectly and has lasted ages!

Hi , i did exactly what cookie just said but incase off heatshrinking i just sigaflexed the hoses into the reguler one , but i did it with 4 hose inside a regular size hose incase i use it with a 4 hole @ some point, what i do now is just kink 1 thin hose as it`s not needed in sportmaster.

I used it in Oct in Dubai and it worked , it does spray water out the holes but still enough goes up , it does that with the cone too anyway.

Finished the gear box so here is before and after photos
savage racing
what did you polish the gear box with ,looks nice.
I used an orbital sander with 180 grit ,240,400, then sandblasted the areas I could not get too then wet and dry 800,1200,then polished with a buffer with oskar’s m-100 then a wax
