I don´t know the record, but he raced the boat between 87-91 i think and after that the boat has been on land in Frodés boatyard untill i bougt it from him.
Both the 32 and 28 has fabrication nr 001 and thats it! The 28 is in mint condition and rigged with twin 2.5 15" and tops out at 95knots!

Frode 32
I raced in that boat many times with Mikael.
It was a terrific boat in a rough sea. For Cowes Torquay we didn't have enough fuel so we put a 50 gallon, (225 Litre) drum in the back and ratchet strapped it down.
With three 2.5 EFI motors, that Mikael was given by Mercury, tuned by him, running on Avgas he said they were 360 HP each on his Dyno, 1080 HP total. We used to blow powerheads regularly and go to Bournemouth Airport to refuel !
You are very lucky to have that boat, It was always one of my favorites. My 23 that I had in 1991 was a terrific boat but when it was changed to tandem seating it was not so good. The 19 that I ran in 3B was also great into a head sea. In the Guernsey Worlds 4 litre when we stuffed the 25 Iwas not so happy. Gordon McMath had a great set of pictures.
Love to see the 32 going again.

Cool!! Thanks! It was real races when the 1000Litre in the boat just isn´t enough! Any idea what speed it did with the different engine combos?
I understand the engines must have been fragile like glass at those power levels and long races!
I feel very lucky
You don´t have any pictures? Feel free to email me any pics or documents about the boat to frode32@gmail.com
Thanks/Christian

Q: "Mikael, what happened to Simon, is he OK? (on seeing blood all over the deck of the 25)
A: He wasn't holding on!"
Compassionate to a fault.

Ahh the gazelle, that was a fast beast. I was with them when James's pedal bike tyre exploded in the back with a bang as the air presure dropped. That was frightening !

I was actually wiping my visor; was the last race in the World's, we won the first, Niele Holmes the second, we were tying for points, last lap and we hit the ferry wake. Big stuff, totally underwater, Gordon's pictures were terrific !
