Goodbye Dad

Hi to all, This is just to let anyone know who either raced with my dad back in the 60's & 70's or even after that as he then scrutineered, his name was Mr John Lusted, known as Jack to his friends and his boat was number 75 which started out as The Minstrals then changed to Fipper, The Flying Sorcerer, Proprider & finally The Jersey Cow. Passed away yesterday after a full and active life, anyone wishing to contact me please do my email address is kb59@hotmail.co.uk. His ever loving daughter Kim

Really sorry to hear the news Kim - Jack was always a character that made racing more fun - and even scrutineering was enjoyable!

Kim, please accept my condolences on your / our loss.

Dear old Jack, ever the sceptic........ I remember him in the early Seventies when showing him round my first offshore raceboat and saying "Looks good Eh Jack whatdya think?" His reply as you would expect was, " Never mind how it looks, How does it go?" A lesson in priorities learned for me !

I am pleased to say it passed the Lusted test.

Mike

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone out there would volunteer to take my Dad on his last journey, he has asked to be thrown off of Putney Bridge at high tide, thought he'd rather go out in style on a powerboat !!, if anyone is willing to do this that would be fantastic... His funeral is on 11th June if anyone would like to attend please let me know, it would be nice to see you...
